Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy
Effective date: September 30, 2026
This policy applies to purchases made directly through this website, operated by Vermart LLC., doing business as VERMART.
We want every VERMART order to be handled fairly, transparently and consistently. Eligible unopened products may be returned within 15 calendar days after delivery with prior authorization. If we send an incorrect product, or a product arrives damaged, defective or materially different from its description, we will review the matter and provide an appropriate resolution.
Because VERMART sells supplements, wellness products, food, beauty, personal-care, household and baby products across international markets, some products cannot be returned after they have been opened, used or unsealed.
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights available under applicable law.
1. Scope of This Policy
This policy applies only to products purchased directly through Vermart.com.
Products purchased through Amazon, eBay, Walmart or another marketplace or retailer are governed by the applicable return and refund rules of the platform or retailer where the transaction occurred. Requests concerning those purchases must be submitted through that platform or retailer.
This policy distinguishes between:
- A voluntary return because the customer changed their mind;
- A problem caused by VERMART, the product or shipment;
- A refused, unclaimed, undeliverable or customs-affected shipment; and
- A cancellation or remedy required by applicable law.
Different refund and return-shipping rules may apply to each situation.
2. Order Cancellations and Changes
Please review the products, quantities, delivery address and contact information carefully before placing an order.
To request a cancellation, contact support@vermart.com as soon as possible and include your order number. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request, but cancellation cannot be guaranteed once processing, procurement, packaging, customs documentation or fulfillment has begun.
After an order has entered fulfillment:
- Products or quantities generally cannot be added, removed or changed;
- The delivery address may no longer be editable;
- A carrier label or customs document may already have been created; and
- The order may need to be handled as a return after delivery.
If VERMART cannot ship within the promised timeframe, we will provide any notice, cancellation option or refund required by applicable law.
Approved cancellations will normally be refunded to the original payment method. Store credit will be issued instead only when the customer agrees or when it is offered as an additional goodwill resolution.
3. Voluntary Return Window
For products eligible under this policy, a return request must be submitted within 15 calendar days after recorded delivery.
Submitting a request does not automatically guarantee approval. Every request is reviewed according to the product, reason for return, product condition, supporting information, order history, applicable law and circumstances of the shipment.
If a voluntary return is approved, the product must normally be dispatched within 14 calendar days after VERMART issues the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), unless different instructions or a different legally required timeframe apply.
Products sent after the applicable deadline may be refused or may no longer qualify for a refund.
4. Conditions for an Eligible Voluntary Return
Unless the request concerns a product that arrived damaged, defective, incorrect or otherwise non-conforming, an eligible return must satisfy all of the following conditions:
- The return was authorized by VERMART before shipment;
- The product is unused, unopened and unaltered;
- All manufacturer seals, safety seals and tamper-evident packaging remain intact;
- The product is in its original packaging;
- Labels, barcodes, lot numbers, serial numbers and expiration information remain intact;
- All components, accessories, gifts, manuals and inserts are included;
- The product has not been assembled, modified, washed, consumed or tested beyond what applicable law permits;
- The product is reasonably suitable for inspection and resale; and
- The customer provides proof of purchase from Vermart.com.
Authorization is specific to the approved product and order. Additional products must not be included in the return parcel unless VERMART authorizes them in writing.
5. Non-Returnable and Final-Sale Products
For health, hygiene, safety, quality-control and regulatory reasons, the following products are generally not eligible for voluntary change-of-mind returns:
- Opened or used vitamins, supplements, herbal products or ingestible wellness products;
- Opened over-the-counter, medical, health-monitoring or therapeutic products;
- Food, beverages, grocery products and other products liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
- Opened infant formula, baby food, feeding products or hygiene-sensitive baby products;
- Opened or unsealed cosmetics, skincare, haircare, oral-care, intimate-care, sanitary or personal-care products;
- Products with a broken manufacturer, safety or hygiene seal;
- Hazardous, flammable, aerosol, pressurized or restricted goods where a return cannot legally or safely be transported;
- Gift cards, downloadable products and digital products;
- Personalized, customized or specially ordered products;
- Products marked "Final Sale" or "Non-Returnable" before purchase;
- Clearance products when identified as final sale before purchase; and
- Bulk or special-quantity purchases identified as non-returnable before the order is accepted.
A final-sale or non-returnable designation applies to voluntary change-of-mind returns. It does not eliminate an available remedy for a product that arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, unsafe, recalled or materially different from its description, or where applicable law requires otherwise.
6. Damaged, Defective, Incorrect or Missing Products
If a product arrives damaged, defective, incorrect, incomplete or materially different from its description, contact support@vermart.com as soon as possible.
Visible shipping damage, incorrect products, missing products or quantity discrepancies should preferably be reported within 7 calendar days after delivery so that we can preserve carrier and supplier claim rights. Delayed reporting may affect our ability to verify the issue, but this notification request does not limit any non-waivable rights under applicable law.
Please provide:
- The order number;
- A clear description of the issue;
- Photographs of the shipping carton and all sides of the parcel;
- A photograph of the shipping label;
- Photographs of the internal packaging and all products received;
- Photographs of the damage, defect, incorrect product or missing-item evidence;
- The product lot, batch, serial and expiration information, where applicable; and
- A short video when reasonably necessary to demonstrate leaking, broken seals, damage or a functional defect.
Do not discard the product, shipping carton, packaging, labels or contents until VERMART confirms that they are no longer required. Discarding evidence before receiving instructions may prevent us or the carrier from verifying the claim.
After review, VERMART may provide one or more of the following remedies, depending on the circumstances and applicable law:
- A replacement;
- A full refund for the affected product;
- A partial refund accepted by the customer;
- A prepaid return label;
- Reimbursement of reasonable, pre-approved return postage;
- Store credit accepted by the customer; or
- A refund or replacement without requiring the product to be returned.
Customers must not incur return-shipping expenses expecting reimbursement unless VERMART has approved the method and maximum reimbursable amount in writing.
7. How to Request a Return or Refund
To request a return, replacement or refund, email support@vermart.com and include:
- Your full name;
- Order number;
- Product name and quantity;
- Reason for the request;
- Relevant photographs or videos; and
- Your preferred resolution.
VERMART may request additional information reasonably necessary to review the request. High-value, bulk, repeated, unusual or complex requests may require additional verification and may take longer to investigate.
If approved, VERMART will provide an RMA number and the applicable instructions. Depending on the product, destination, value and reason for return, the instructions may provide a specific return address, a shipping method, a prepaid label, an approved postage-reimbursement amount or confirmation that no physical return is required.
Do not send a product to a VERMART business, fulfillment, supplier or carrier address without written authorization. Unauthorized returns may be refused and may not qualify for a refund.
8. Return Shipping Costs
Change-of-Mind or Other Non-Fault Returns
For approved returns that are not caused by an error by VERMART or a problem with the product:
- The customer is responsible for return shipping;
- A tracked shipping method must be used;
- The customer bears the risk of loss or damage until the parcel reaches the authorized return location;
- VERMART generally does not provide prepaid international return labels;
- Original expedited or premium shipping charges are generally non-refundable; and
- Actual non-recoverable customs, carrier, brokerage, handling or other charges may be deducted where properly disclosed and permitted by law.
VERMART-Fault Returns
For a verified incorrect, damaged, defective or materially misdescribed product, VERMART will determine a reasonable return or resolution method. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a prepaid label, pre-approved postage reimbursement, replacement, refund or no-return resolution.
VERMART is not responsible for unauthorized or unnecessarily expensive return methods selected without written approval.
9. International Returns, Duties and Taxes
International returns may require customs documentation and may generate postage, brokerage, storage, handling, quarantine, duty or tax charges.
For voluntary change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for:
- Obtaining return authorization before shipment;
- Using the authorized return address;
- Completing return customs documentation accurately;
- Identifying the parcel as returned merchandise where appropriate;
- Paying return transportation and applicable return charges; and
- Keeping tracking and proof of dispatch.
Incorrect customs declarations or unauthorized return methods may cause delays, additional charges, refusal, abandonment or destruction of the parcel.
Sales tax or VAT associated with refunded merchandise will be refunded or adjusted as required by applicable law. Customs duty, brokerage, carrier handling, import charges and similar amounts will be refunded only to the extent they are recoverable by VERMART or where applicable law requires a refund.
Nothing in this section limits mandatory cancellation, tax-refund or consumer rights.
10. Inspection and Refund Processing
Except where a no-return resolution is approved, a refund will not normally be issued while a voluntary return is still in transit.
After the authorized return arrives, VERMART or its fulfillment provider will inspect the product and confirm whether it satisfies the approved return conditions. Inspection may include checking:
- Product identity and quantity;
- Manufacturer and safety seals;
- Signs of use, alteration or damage;
- Original packaging and accessories;
- Lot, batch, barcode, serial and expiration information; and
- Whether the returned product matches the product originally supplied.
If the return is approved after inspection, VERMART will normally initiate the refund within 10 business days, subject to any shorter deadline required by law. Banks, card issuers and payment providers may require additional time to post the refund.
Refunds are normally issued to the original payment method. If the original method cannot receive the refund, VERMART will provide a lawful alternative. Store credit will not replace a legally required monetary refund unless the customer expressly agrees.
Customers will be notified if a refund is reduced or refused and will receive the reason for the decision.
11. Refund Amounts and Diminished Value
For an approved voluntary return, the refundable amount is generally based on the amount actually paid for the returned product after discounts, promotions and allocated order-level adjustments.
Where permitted by law, VERMART may reduce a refund to account for:
- Missing parts, accessories, gifts, inserts or packaging;
- Damage caused after delivery;
- Use or handling beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the product;
- Broken seals or altered packaging;
- Incorrect or incomplete return packaging;
- A product returned in a condition materially different from the condition supplied; or
- Actual non-recoverable charges properly attributable to the return.
Any deduction will be reasonably related to the actual loss in value or cost incurred. VERMART does not impose an automatic restocking fee on every return.
No deduction will be made where prohibited by law or where the loss resulted from a verified VERMART error or pre-existing product defect.
12. Exchanges and Replacements
Direct exchanges are not guaranteed. When an exchange is unavailable, VERMART may process an approved refund and the customer may place a new order.
Replacement availability depends on inventory, destination restrictions and product availability. A replacement does not create a new cash-refund entitlement beyond the rights available under the original transaction and applicable law.
13. Lost Shipments and Packages Marked Delivered
If tracking has not updated for an unusual period or a carrier confirms that a parcel may be lost, contact support@vermart.com. VERMART may open an investigation with the carrier before approving a refund or replacement.
A carrier delivery scan, delivery photograph, signature, GPS record or parcel-locker record is evidence of delivery but may not be conclusive in every situation. For a package marked delivered but not located, the customer may be asked to:
- Check the delivery address on the order;
- Check with household members, reception, concierge, neighbours or the local delivery office;
- Review carrier photographs or parcel-locker information;
- Wait for a short carrier reconciliation period when appropriate; and
- Cooperate with a carrier investigation or provide a declaration of non-receipt.
VERMART does not automatically classify a package as lost solely because the customer cannot immediately locate a parcel marked delivered. Claims may be denied where reliable delivery evidence materially contradicts the claim.
Theft or loss occurring after proper delivery may not qualify for a refund unless covered by applicable law or shipping protection purchased for the order.
14. Refused, Unclaimed and Undeliverable Shipments
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, telephone number, email address and any information reasonably required by the carrier or customs authority.
Customers are also responsible for monitoring tracking, responding to carrier or customs requests and collecting packages from a post office, parcel locker, courier branch or pickup location within the required timeframe.
If a shipment is refused, abandoned, left unclaimed or cannot be delivered because of an incorrect address, missing customer documentation, customer non-response, unpaid customer charges or a destination restriction, any refund will be determined after the shipment's final disposition is known.
Where permitted by law, VERMART may deduct actual, non-recoverable:
- Outbound shipping;
- Return shipping;
- Duties and taxes;
- Brokerage and customs charges;
- Carrier handling and storage fees;
- Destruction or abandonment fees; and
- Other costs directly caused by the refusal, non-collection or failed delivery.
No refund may be available where the parcel is destroyed, abandoned or permanently disposed of due to circumstances within the customer's control and VERMART cannot recover either the product or the relevant amounts.
These limitations do not apply to the extent the problem resulted from a verified VERMART error or where applicable law requires a different remedy.
15. Customs Restrictions and Import Responsibility
Customers are responsible for confirming before purchase that a product may legally be imported, possessed and used in the destination country.
Some supplements, wellness products, OTC products, cosmetics, personal-care products, food or baby products may require permits, prescriptions, identification, quantity limits or other documentation depending on local law.
If a shipment is delayed, refused, seized, returned, abandoned or destroyed because of a destination-country restriction, customer ineligibility, missing customer documentation, prohibited quantity or the customer's failure to respond, refund eligibility may be reduced as described in this policy.
This section does not excuse VERMART from responsibility for its own inaccurate customs declaration, fulfillment error or other obligation imposed by applicable law.
16. Mistaken and Unauthorized Returns
VERMART cannot issue a refund for an item that was not originally supplied as part of the applicable order.
If a customer mistakenly sends an unrelated product, VERMART may make reasonable efforts to identify the item and notify the customer. Retrieval, storage, handling and return shipping costs will be the customer's responsibility.
VERMART cannot guarantee the identification, safekeeping or return of unauthorized or mistakenly included items. Where legally permitted, unidentified or unclaimed items may be disposed of after reasonable notice and a reasonable holding period.
Sending an unauthorized item to VERMART does not transfer ownership of that item to VERMART.
17. High-Value, Bulk and Unusual Claims
High-value, bulk, repeated, unusual or complex requests may require additional review before a resolution is approved.
VERMART may reasonably request photographs, video, serial or lot information, identity confirmation, declarations, carrier documentation or other evidence necessary to verify the transaction and prevent duplicate payment or fraud.
Any personal information collected for verification will be handled in accordance with VERMART's Privacy Policy and applicable privacy law.
Additional review does not eliminate any remedy or processing deadline required by applicable law.
18. Fraud, Misuse and Abusive Conduct
VERMART may investigate, limit or deny requests that reasonably appear to involve fraud, material misrepresentation or abuse. Examples include:
- Returning a different product from the one supplied;
- Submitting altered, fabricated or misleading photographs or documents;
- Knowingly making a false non-delivery, damage, defect or description claim;
- Creating duplicate or excessive claims for the same loss;
- Seeking both a merchant refund and payment-dispute recovery for the same amount;
- Repeatedly refusing or failing to collect shipments without a legitimate reason;
- Removing, replacing or altering serial numbers, lot numbers, labels or packaging;
- Using multiple accounts to circumvent account restrictions or promotional limits; or
- Engaging in threatening, harassing or unlawful conduct toward VERMART personnel or service providers.
A negative review, complaint or legitimate payment dispute is not, by itself, fraudulent or abusive. Honest customer feedback will not affect the assessment of a valid return or refund request.
If a payment dispute or chargeback is opened for an amount already subject to a refund request, VERMART may pause duplicate refund processing while the payment provider resolves the dispute. This does not waive any lawful rights available to the customer.
Where supported by documented evidence and permitted by law, VERMART may decline future transactions, restrict an account, cancel unfulfilled orders or report suspected fraud to payment providers, carriers or appropriate authorities.
19. EU and UK Consumer Withdrawal Rights
Where mandatory EU or UK distance-selling laws apply, an eligible consumer may have the right to notify VERMART of cancellation within 14 days after receiving qualifying goods and then return those goods within the additional period required by applicable law.
The customer may be responsible for the direct cost of returning qualifying goods when this responsibility was properly disclosed before purchase, unless the goods are defective, incorrect or otherwise non-conforming.
Where required, VERMART will refund the qualifying purchase price and the cost of the least expensive standard outbound delivery method offered for the order. Additional amounts paid for expedited or premium delivery may not be refundable beyond the standard-delivery amount.
The withdrawal right may not apply, or may cease to apply, to products such as:
- Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
- Sealed goods not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons after the seal has been broken;
- Personalized or custom-made goods; and
- Other products excluded by applicable law.
An exclusion from the withdrawal right does not eliminate applicable remedies for defective, damaged, incorrect, unsafe or materially misdescribed goods.
If this section conflicts with another part of this policy, the applicable mandatory consumer law controls.
20. Policy Changes
VERMART may update this policy periodically to reflect changes in products, carriers, markets, operations or legal requirements.
Unless a change is required immediately by law, material changes will apply prospectively. A request will generally be assessed under the policy that applied when the relevant order was placed, together with any mandatory legal rights in effect at the applicable time.
